PURPOSE: A manufacturing process for a pine tree salt and a composition for oral cavity containing the pine tree salt are provided, inwhich the composition for oral cavity containing the pine tree salt shows good prevention effect on peridontal disease, and good prevention effect on decayed tooth. CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing process for pine tree salt comprises the steps of: mixing pine tree extract and salt in the weight ratio of 1:0.1-10 at room temperature, and adding distilled water and dissolving completely to get a mixed solution of pine tree extract and salt; making a carrier like as silica gel or sedimented silica, colloidal humedsilica or zeolite to contain the mixed solution of pine tree extract and salt(mixing the mixed solution and the carrier in the ratio of 1:0.1-10); coating a surface of the carrier with water-insoluble coating agent(water-insoluble but breakable in the oral cavity, e.g., polyethyleneglycol, methylcellulose, polystyrene, bees wax, paraffin wax, petroleum wax, etc). The composition for oral cavity contains the pine tree salt 0.05-5wt.%, desirably 0.1-3wt.% based on the total weight of composition.
