COMPACTOR DEVICE

The compactor device comprises a structure which defines internally a housing wherein is housed the product (7) to be compacted and wherein are provided compaction means. The compaction means include a laminar body (8) as compression surface, said laminar body being fixed to the structure by means of supports (9); a hopper (4) which is vertically displaceable along the structure and to which are fixed the extremities of a container (5) made of flexible material; means for actuating and displacing the hopper (4) to which is associated the flexible container (5) towards the body (8) acting as compression surface in order to compress the product (7). When compressing the product inside the flexible container, the accidental loss of waste material during compression is avoided, this type of container being much more economical and occupying less space than a conventional rigid container.
