PURPOSE: A device for coupling an external door of a dry unit is provided to improve the safety and the reliability of a printer by opening an external door only when the print is in a repair mode. CONSTITUTION: A device for coupling an external door of a dry unit includes a main frame(110) having a driving roller(112) for supporting a photosensitive medium(104) to be traveled; a back plate(120) slidably installed in the main frame; a dry unit frame(130) mounting a dry roller(132) absorbing a liquid carrier remaining in the photosensitive medium and heating rollers(134) heating the dry roller, and separated from the main frame for movably between a separation position of the back plate side and a close position of the main frame side; an external door(140) opening and shutting an opened port(102) prepared in one side opposite to the back plate for detaching a dry unit; a locking element locking the external door to the main frame; and an adjusting element(160) adjusting the locking element to release the locking of the external door only at the separation position.
