PURPOSE: A pushing switch is provided to make successive ON/OFF operations of a switch possible by using a cam operation lever and a cam mechanism. CONSTITUTION: A knob(60) is mounted to an upper portion of a switch case(50) and moves up and down. A push rod(65) of the knob(60) is extended into the switch case(50). A switch body(70) is mounted to a lower portion of a switch case(50). The switch body(70) has a plurality of terminals(75) which are connected to an outer circuit. One end of a contact terminal(77) is connected to one switch terminal(75a) and the other end contacts/separates to/from another switch terminal(75b), so as to turn the switch circuit ON/OFF. A cam operating means(80) is mounted in the switch case(50) and moves up and down by the push rod(65) of the knob(60). A cam means(85) rotates in one or other direction in the switch body according as the cam operating means(80) moves up and down, so as to contact/separate the contact terminal(77) to/from the switch terminal(75).
