PURPOSE: A power supply using a high frequency transformer is provided to reduce the manufacture cost of 10kW or less power supply by reducing parts used in manufacturing the power supply. CONSTITUTION: A power supply using a high frequency transformer includes a rectifying diode(11), a power factor control part(20) and the high frequency transformer(30). The rectifying diode(11) rectifies an AC power(10) and outputs a rectified power to the power factor control part(20). The power factor control part(20) repeats the charging and discharging operation of the rectified power to cause the voltage phase to be equal to the current phase. The high frequency transformer(30) has a primary winding and a secondary winding. The phase matching power from the power factor control part(20) is provided to the primary winding(L1), such that a constant level of voltage is induced at the secondary winding(L2) of the high frequency transformer(30). |
