PURPOSE: A door coupling device of an elevator is provided to reduce the frequency of failure and the cost of production according to the reduction of the number of components and to improve productivity by shortening assembling time through using a sliding crank method. CONSTITUTION: A car door with a door opening and closing unit is installed in a car. A landing door with a locking unit is connected by a door coupling device. A pair of coupling bars is symmetrically installed at an interval for letting the locking unit in and out and operated to release the locking unit by narrowing the interval. A guide block(15) is supported to move an interlock section for releasing the locking unit and a door opening and closing section after unlocking. The coupling bars are operated by a sliding crank unit interlocking with the motion of the guide block.
