PURPOSE: A bypass valve system of a scroll compressor is provided to easily process and assemble a bypass valve by changing the shape of a bypass valve and to enhance the efficiency of a compressor by reducing a dead volume due to a bypass hole. CONSTITUTION: A bypass valve system is composed of a fixed scroll(50) engaged with a turning scroll and forming a compressing chamber, a valve ball(61) closing a bypass hole(51) formed in the fixed scroll and a fixing jig(62) preventing the valve ball from displacement and having many through holes(63) for flowing a fluid. The gas in the compressing chamber is compressed by the rotation of the turning scroll. If the pressure of a discharging chamber is higher than that of the compressing chamber, the gas in the compressing chamber doesn't flow into the discharging chamber and the gas in the discharging chamber doesn't reversely flow to the compressing chamber. If the pressure of the gas in the compressing chamber is near a discharge pressure, the gas in the compressing chamber is applied on the valve ball via the bypass hole and the valve ball is displaced from the bypass hole. Therefore, the gas in the compressing chamber flows out via the bypass hole and then to the discharging chamber via the through hole. If the pressure of the compressing chamber becomes lower, the valve ball closes the bypass hole.
