PURPOSE: A machine room of a refrigerator is provided to attenuate a noise without deteriorating the refrigerator by maximally suppressing noise outflow and by smoothly discharging heat outside through many ventilating holes. CONSTITUTION: A machine room(1) of a refrigerator comprises a compressor(10), a condenser(20) and a cooling fan(30). The compressor compresses a high temperature and high pressure refrigerant and the condenser cools and liquefies the refrigerant. The cooling fan cools the compressor and the condenser near the outside of the compressor. Furthermore, the machine room installs noise ducts(40,50,60) around the compressor, the condenser and the cooling fan and many inlets(41,42,43,45,51,53,55,61) and outlets(45,47,49,57.63) are formed through the wall of each noise duct. Therefore, the machine room attenuates noise without deteriorating the refrigerator.
