Machine comprises a transfer device (3) that moves chip cards (4) to a lift device (120) for personalization of the cards, where the cards are moved vertically and sequentially by a support guide (70) using capture and positioning assemblies. The lift (120) is made from a rectangular plate equipped with a large number of connections to the integrated circuits of the chip cards. The chip cards are presented in a sequential manner at the conveyor belt input and output of the lift device.
