Rigid core in two parts, for manufacturing tires

A rigid core has parts forming adjacent parts of an internal circumferential surface of a tire. Each part has a principal part whose radially outer surface region forms the tire and whose radially inner region is connected to a coupling device for coupling the parts together. Independent claims are included for the following: (a) the above core where the principal part and the coupling device are made of different materials; (b) the above core where the principal part is molded in a thermally conductive material incorporating an electrical resistance; (c) as (a) where the shape of the principal parts is such that at a vulcanizing temperature the parts of the core form a regular without visible joint lines.
