PURPOSE: A multi-step voice recognition portal service system and method is provided to enable a voice recognition result to call other voice recognition service system or general service providing system so that it can offer various voice recognition services. CONSTITUTION: A multi-step voice recognition portal service method comprises steps of sensing a call sent by a service requester(51), connecting the call to a voice synthesis and recognition processor(52), the voice synthesis and recognition processor sending a guide information to the service requester, allowing the user to input a voice, and receiving the service requester's voice(53), extracting codes from the input voice(54), searching for other voice recognition service system number by using the extracted codes(55), requesting a connection to the searched voice recognition service system(56), and making a call connection to the searched voice recognition service system via an auto dialing function(57).
