PURPOSE: An upper hinge assembly of refrigerator is provided to be assembled and disassembled without a separate tool. CONSTITUTION: A hinge assembly is attachable and detachable to an upper surface(40) of a main body of a refrigerator and comprises a hinge supporter(20); multiple joining holes(12); a hinge axis(14); an upper hinge(10); and a hinge cover(30). The hinge supporter is joined to the upper surface of the main body and has multiple joining protrusions(22). The joining holes are joined with the corresponding joining protrusions. The upper hinge has a free moving preventing groove(16) formed thereon. The hinge cover has a free moving preventing protrusion formed on inside thereof to be joined with the free moving preventing groove.
