PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a gene (derivative or mutant) which comprises a gene containing a specific DNA sequence, encodes a protein participating in surrounding on immunoreactions and is useful for malaria therapeutic agents or coniosis therapeutic agents. SOLUTION: This gene is a novel gene, its derivative or its mutant containing the DNA sequence represented by 9-2270 in the formula and is used in the production or the like of a protein which participates in surrounding on immunoreactions and is useful for malaria or coniosis therapeutic agent as an immune activity potentiator or the like that participates in congenital immunoreactions and induces the activation of acquired immunoreactions. This gene is obtained by preparing a cDNA library derived from larvae of Tenebrio molitor belonging to the order Coleoptera Linnaeus by a conventional method, mixing this library with previously heated top agar to apply on a plate, reacting an antibody against surrounded protein with this mixture on the plate and then carrying out immunoscreening using a labeled secondary antibody. |
