PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of components required to connect a metal tube to a synthetic resin tube and incorporate a shutoff valve, and to simplify the connecting work and improve its efficiency to thereby reduce the working cost. SOLUTION: This valve is so constructed that a metal core 13 is inserted into a synthetic resin valve main body 12. The valve main body 12 has one connecting port 20 made of a synthetic resin, and the other connecting port 25 made of a metal which is integral with the core 13. The connecting port 20 of the synthetic resin and the connecting port 25 of the metal exhibit the transition function. This results in simplification of the connecting work of the metal tube and the synthetic resin tube through the synthetic resin valve and improvement of its efficiency.
