PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a floating shelf, which is used by being floated on the liquid in a container or on a semi-coagulating body used as a placing stand or a worktable of brushes, spatulas, utensils or the like and with which the soaking amount of a brush or the like is made constant, resulting in preventing coating sagging and uneven coating and handles are made difficult to be stained. SOLUTION: In a floating shelf 1 floated in the liquid 10 in a container and a semi-coagulating body 10, one or more holes 2, through which the liquid or the like passes, are provided in the shelf. Further, a floating means, a gathering part for gathering the liquid and an agitating part are provided. In addition, an upstanding part and carrying handles are provided at the outer peripheral part of the shelf.
