PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of occurrence of failure in cutting of stems and leaves which damages commercial value by the injury, because an onion is inclined and cannot be conveyed smoothly by the splipping caused when the onion is nipped by a pair of rollers and conveyed because of the difference of outer diameter of both rollers in a stem and leaf-treating device in a conventional onion-harvester. SOLUTION: This vegetable harvester has a harvesting conveyer 2 for harvesting vegetables from a field, installed in the front part of a traveling car body 1, a stem and leaf-treating device 3 for treating the stems and leaves of the harvested vegetables, and successively installed at the rear part of the harvesting conveyer 2, a loading conveyer 4 successively installed in the downstream side of the stem and leaf-treating device 3. The vegetable harvester is constituted so that the stem and leaf-treating device 3 may have a left-handed screw roller 3a and a right-handed screw roller 3b supported by the shafts so as to face to each other and so as to mutually rotate inside.
