PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent control hunting of unnecessarily repeating of ON/OFF switching of automatic steering control by setting a timing of start of control with grasping a running road surface condition. SOLUTION: This lane follow-up device for making a vehicle follow a lane in front is provided with a lane information obtaining determination means (f) for determining whether lane information detected by a lane information detecting means (c) can be obtained or not, a control hunting mode determination means (g) for monitoring an information obtaining mode brought by the lane information obtaining determination means (f) to determine whether the information obtaining mode monitored is a mode easily causing the control hunting or not, and a control start timing setting means (h) for starting automatic steering control after a set waiting time is passed even a condition capable of obtaining the lane information continues when a control hunting mode is determined. |
