摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effect reaction with water in a water hole to generate gas, to expel the water infiltrating the inside of explosive powder, to facilitate ignition and to obtain a stable detonation reaction by consisting the above explosive powder of granular explosive powder essentially consisting of ammonium nitrate and a gas generating agent reacting with the water. SOLUTION: The gas generating agent reacting with the water is sodium nitrite, sodium hydrogencarbonate, ammonium hydrogencarbonate, ammonium carbonate, or the like, preferably for production, which efficiently generates the gas by contact with or dissolution in the water if the pH value of the water is in an adequate range. If a pH control agent, such as an acidic or alkaline material, is previously added thereto for this purpose, the gas may be generated without being affected by the pH of the water around a use site and a gas generation rate) may be controlled by the amount of the pH control agent to be added. For example, the sodium hydrogencarbonate is small in the gas generation rate with the neutral water and, therefore, the gas generation rate is increased by changing the water to the acidic side by using boric acid, or the like.
