<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-quality gas generator that can provide deployment control and is excellent in preventing an external outflow of slag in combustion gas. SOLUTION: The gas generator is so designed that a short cylindrical outer casing 11 with a plurality of gas ventholes 11a, and a top plate 9b and a bottom plate 12 closing the upper and lower ends of the outer casing 11 all delimit an internal combustion chamber, which is divided with a partition member 4 into two, or an upper combustion chamber 2 and a lower combustion chamber 3, in which are inserted or disposed gas generants 5, filter members 6 enclosing them and independently operable igniters 7 and 8. The partition member 4 has annular projections 4a and 4b integrally molded on its contact positions with the internal surfaces of the filter members 6.</p> |
