PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the freedom of design as to selection of parts and allocation places in a workpiece inspection device. SOLUTION: In a workpiece inspection device for inspecting and end face of a workpiece, including an endless conveyer belt 400 formed in a part thereof with a cutout 400a, a workpiece 1 is inserted in the cutout 400a and is conveyed. An end face of the workpiece 1 exposed from the conveyer belt 400 is inspected by inspection cameras 301, 302. With this arrangement in which the workpiece is inserted in the conveyer belt and is inspected, an extra space and be obtained in comparison with a conventional inspection device using a disc, thereby it is possible to enhance the freedom of design for the device.
