PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize the size of an insert sheet set on an insert sheet feeder by a user, and erroneous designation if the user designates a different size. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with an insert sheet feeding means 104 feeding an insert sheet on the downstream side from an image forming means 62 forming an image on a recording sheet fed from recording sheet loading means 53, 54, sheet conveyance means 4, 8 for selectively conveying the recording sheet and the insert sheet to a plurality of delivered sheet loading means 85, 86 loading the recording sheet P on which the image is formed and the fed insert sheet on them, insert sheet size detecting means 29, 30 detecting at least either of the width or the length of the insert sheet, and a determination control means controlling the sheet conveyance means, delivering the sheet to either one delivered sheet loading means when the sheet size detected by the insert sheet size detecting means 29, 30 meets a prescribed condition, and delivering the sheet to the other delivered sheet loading means if the sheet size does not meet it. |
