PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grating slip-off preventing devcie for a road drain port preventing detachment caused by the treading travel of automobiles. SOLUTION: This grating slip-off preventing device is provided with a movement locking device 20 of such constitution that a pair of mutually retrorse slip-off preventing sliding rods 21 supported in a horizontally slidable manner to the bottom face of a grating fitted into an opening frame part of a drain port opened to the road surface, and engaged at the tips with the opening frame part, are put in mutually retorse action by the action of rotating arms 22, and that a turning shaft 27 fixed to the turning center of the rotating arm 22 is turnable by an exclusive handle 24.
