<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely arithmetically operate grade resistance at a high speed, and make an operation curve on-line by determining the grade resistance on the basis of altitude data at a predetermined point on a roadway, information for, showing the train length and information for showing a position of a train. SOLUTION: When making an operation curve by an operation curve making device 1 in an automatic train operation device 3 mounted on a train 1, first of all, altitude data on a corresponding grade point is read out of an altitude database 101 for showing an altitude and a grade of respective grade points. Next, grade resistance is calculated on the basis of the altitude data, information for showing the train length and information for showing a position of the train by a grade resistance calculating part 102. Afterwards, the operation curve is determined by a calculation by an operation curve calculating part 103 by using this grade resistance to control operation of the train along this operation curve. Or a brake pattern is made by using the grade resistance to control a train speed on the basis of this pattern.</p> |
