PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label printer to easily cut a label sheet peeled from a mount in a beautiful and uniform condition, and adhere the adhesive of the label sheet to a cut part forming body. SOLUTION: The label printer to carry a label paper 11 with a long label sheet 12 with the adhesive applied to its reverse side stuck to a surface of a long mount 14, implement the printing on the surface of the label sheet 12 by a printing mechanism, and then, peels the label sheet 12 from the mount 14 by a peeling body 26 in the label paper 11, is provided with a cut part forming body 31 to form on the peeling body 26 a cut part V which bites in the label sheet 12 along the paper thickness direction from its face side to the reverse side to peel the part of the label sheet 12 peeled from the mount 14 from a part of the label sheet 12 stuck to the mount 14.
