PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial vehicle allowing the rear view mirror side to be automatically put in avoiding moition when external force is applied to the rear view mirror side while adopting a form of moving the rear view mirror by an actuating means. SOLUTION: A rear view mirror device 20 is constituted to move a rear view mirror 25 by an actuating means 21 into a position projected outside of a vehicle width and into a position settled within the vehicle width, and provided with an external force avoiding means 31 for putting the rear view mirror 25 side in avoiding motion when external force is applied to the side of the rear view mirror 25 projected outside of the vehicle width. While adopting a form of moving the rear view mirror 2b by the actuating means 21, the rear view mirror 25 side can be automatically put in avoiding motion by the external force avoiding means 31 when the external force is applied to the rear view mirror 25 side due to the contact of the rear view mirror 25 side with an obstruction during the travel of a traveling truck with the rear view mirror 25 in the position projected outside of the vehicle width.
