PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the influence of an earthquake force applied on a bridge pier, a bridge abutment, and a bridge, to prevent damage of the structure of a joint portion to thereby improve earthquake resisting performance, to enhance cost effectiveness by reducing equipment expenses, to suppress secular change as much as possible, to thereby stabilize and maintain the earthquake resisting performance. SOLUTION: There is provided a bridge falling preventive apparatus which is comprised of at least one of a longitudinal girder linking means and a lateral girder linking means. The longitudinal girder linking means links a gap between longitudinal girders 2, 2 of a bridge, which are sequentially and adjacently arranged to each other and supported on a bridge pier 1, by means of metallic bellows 7 which are expandable in a bridge axial direction and bendable in the horizontal direction. The lateral girder linking means links a gap between a lateral girder of the bridge, supported on the bridge pier 1, and the bridge pier 1 per se, by means of the metallic bellows 7 which are expandable in the bridge axial direction and bendable in the horizontal direction.
