PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fill a fuel in a container of a fuel carrying module by providing an opening in a container bottom which can be closed and opened with respect to the level of the fuel in the container by a closing element to be operated by a float. SOLUTION: This device fills the fuel in a container 2 of n fuel carrying module 1 which is connected to a storage tank 11 on the suction side, and connected to an internal combustion engine on the discharge side. The container 2 surrounds a fuel carrier, and the fuel can be filled in the container 2 via an opening 10 provided in a lower section of the container 2. The opening 10 is in a container bottom 4, and can be closed and opened with respect to the level 20 of the fuel in the container 2 by a closing element 8 operated by a float 16.
