PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information transmission requesting device for transmitting a request for transmission for the transmission of information with information for designating a reponse timing capable of responding to the request for transmission by radio waves, and for actively transmitting the request for transmission again when the information can not be received in the designated reponse timing. SOLUTION: A radio wave using type meter-reading device 1 is provided with a transmitting and receiving means 7 for transmitting a request for transmission for the transmission of gas usage and the identifiers of whole radio wave using type gas meters being the objects of the request for transmission in a batch by using radio waves, and for receiving the pair of the gas usage and the identifier in each response timing corresponding to each radio wave using type gas meter and a judging means 8 for judging whether or not the pairs of the gas usage and identifiers of the whole radio wave using type gas meters are received by the transmitting and receiving means 7. When the judged result of the judging means 8 is negative, the transmitting and receiving means 7 is allowed to re-transmit the request for transmission and the identifiers which can not be received by the transmitting and receiving means 7 by using radio waves.
