PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pass sufficiently high magnetic density through an inner core and to generate a high torque by making specific the relationship between the total of the effective width of the outer core of a rotary machine and the outer diameter of the inner core. SOLUTION: In the structure of the rotary machine, the relationship between the total of the effective width of the tooth of an outer core and the outer diameter of an inner core needs to satisfy the relationship expressed by an expression HN>0. 8πD.Bso/si, where H is equal to the average value of the effective width of the tooth of the outer core, N is equal to the number of teeth of the outer core, D is equal to the outer diameter of the inner core, and Bso is equal to the saturation magnetization of the outer core, and Bsi is equal to the saturation magnetization of the inner core. In a DC motor with a brush where the outer core 11 and the inner core 13 are made of the same electromagnetic steel plate, the inner core 13 is the rotor of an armature, and armature coil winding 15 is fixed by FRP and can be rotated and can respond speedily.
