PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent untimely release of an opening and closing lid and to prevent a mis-injection of toner that is for other models or toner that is of a wrong color. SOLUTION: In this toner replenishing device, when a recessed and projected surface of a release member 40 and an recessed and projected surface of a fixed member 21 are matched when a toner cartridge 2 is proceeded, a restriction against a locking member 20 is released by having the fixed member 21 moved. The opening and closing member 41 is abutted to the locking member 20, the locking member 20 is moved inward and an engagement with a guide frame 5 is released. The opening and closing lid 4 becomes movable as a result and the opening and closing lid 4 is released by proceeding of the toner cartridge 2. When neither of the recessed and projected surfaces are matched, the restriction against the locking member 20 by the fixed member 21 is not released and therefore the lock is not released. |
