PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core used for a transformer, in which a leakage inductance is small and a small size and a high efficiency can be obtained. SOLUTION: A core for a transformer, which is mounted vertically and of which middle leg 14 around which input and output coils are wound is provided in the vertical direction corresponding to a circuit board surface, is provided with the middle leg 14 so as to deviate near the lead-out part of the output coil 13. A sidewall 15 is provided vertically in the projecting direction of the middle leg 14 and at a position symmetric with the middle leg 14 as the center, and a lead part of the output coil 13 is not enclosed by a constituting part of the core for a transformer. |
