PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic motor whose efficient stator assembling work is feasible. SOLUTION: A stator 1 is provided with a first block 11, a third block 13, etc. A first block 11 has a first engaging surface 22 cut off flatly in an axial direction. A third block 13 has a cylindrical part 31 and a bottom part 32 ands is thereby approximately in the shape of a cylinder having a bottom, and a second engaging surface 34 cut off flatly in the axial direction is formed, in the peripheral surface of the bottom 32. When the stator 1 is assembled, the first surface 22 of the first block 11 is interposed and held by a vice 51, and the first block 11 is fixed. Next, the second surface 34 of the third block 13 is interposed and held by chucking pieces 54 of a torque wrench 53, and the third block 13 is fastened up by specified torque by the use of the torque wrench 53 to a bolt 19 fastened to the first block 11. |
