<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall-mounted air conditioner, which allows an engaging pawl to engage at an engagement part easily and precisely, by permitting the direction of the engaging pawl that is provided on the rear face of a base to correspond to the engagement part to be changed, even in the case when an installation plate that is provided with the engagement part is fixed to a projection-recess wall surface. SOLUTION: In a device, an engaging pawl 2, which engage at an engagement part of an installation plate in such a manner that it can be disengaged, comprises a horizontal fixing part 2a that is continuously formed at a base 1, a pawl part 2d of roughly L-shaped cross section comprising a horizontal plate 2b that is superposed on the same fixing part and a vertical plate 2c hanging from the rear end part thereof, and a pivoting part 2', which pivots and fixes the horizontal plate to the fixing part rotatably at a predetermined angle. In this case, when the installation plate is fixed to a projection-recess wall surface to bring the change in the direction of the engagement part, the direction of the pawl part is made changeable corresponding to the same engagement part.</p> |
