PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to edit subsidiary information in real time without performing troublesome processing even in the case of setting editing point on the way of display by the subsidiary information at the time of annexing the subsidiary information such as superimposed dialog and title image to reproduced video by the main information. SOLUTION: This video reproducing/editing device is provided with a setting means 1 which sets editing points in the subsidiary information S IN1 and S IN2, a setting means 2 which sets the final point and the final time of the display by the subsidiary information S IN1 for being annexed to the video by the main information D IN before the editing points, a setting means 3 which sets the start point and the start time of the display by the subsidiary information S IN2 for being annexed to the video by the main information D IN after the editing points and an editing means 6 which edits so as to connect the subsidiary information S IN1 and S IN2 before and after the editing points in accordance with the final point and the final time related to the subsidiary information S IN1 which is set by the setting means 2 and the start point and the start time related to the subsidiary information S IN2 which is set by the setting means 3.
