PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device constituted so that an unfixed image on a recording medium is prevented from sticking to a fixing body. SOLUTION: A high-voltage power source device 419 generating an electric field on a fixing roller 410 in order to prevent a toner image T on a transfer material P from sticking to the roller 410 is constituted so that the intensity of the electric field can be adjusted in order to prevent the material P from sticking to the roller 410 based on the relative position of the material P with respect to the position of the roller 410.
