The fixing bracket comprises a single piece body with two lateral webs (1,2) connected by two crosspieces (3,4) which have a traction rupture zone (7a,7b). One web has a groove (6). Each web has a convergent internal face delimiting a housing (8) surmounted on the side of their maximum spacing by a wedge shaped part (9) connected to the webs by divisible tabs. The fence post (20) has a longitudinal rabbet (22) for receiving the vertical end (26) of the metal trellis.
