PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibration transmitted from a cabinet to a deck without any interference with the thinning of a device. SOLUTION: This disk recording/reproducing device is provided with an inner holder 3 for inserting a cartridge 6 housing a disk, an outer holder 3 moved back and forth and a pickup 75 in a cabinet 4, and a chassis 2 located below the inner holder 1. The chassis 1 is provided so as to be vertically moved with respect to the inner holder 2, and the inner holder 3 is fixed to the cabinet 4. Between the cabinet 4 and the inner holder 2, an elastically deformable damper 5 is provided, and the damper 5 communicates the cabinet 4 with the holder 2 through a through-hole 14 provided in the chassis 1.
