PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which can be easily assembled without increasing the number of parts and is capable of preventing the generation of a rattle noise by collision of a display unit against ambient members by vibration. SOLUTION: This display device is provided with tongue-shaped pieces 22 which are formed of portions cut approximately to a U shape on the loading surface 15 of a holder 3 for placing a fluorescent display tube 2. The front ends thereof are provided with pressing projections 23 projecting from the loading surface. The fluorescent display tube 2 is placed on the loading surface 15 of the holder 3 and a cover 4 is fixed to a substrate 6 in the state of pressing the fluorescent display tube 2 with the cover 4. The fluorescent display tube 2 is then elastically held between the pressing projection 23 and the cover 4.
