摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To function a piezoelectric vibrator with a low voltage by generating an AC voltage from a DC voltage boosted by a boosting circuit and applying the voltage to a piezoelectric vibrator element. SOLUTION: The DC voltage of a DC power source 1 is boosted by a boosting circuit 2 of a DC/DC converter and applied to an oscillation circuit 3, the AC voltage is generated and a vibrator 4 is driven. The vibrator 4 is composed of a metal such as ceramics for providing a piezoelectric body and vibration width. Then, the vibrator 4 is vibrated at a prescribed frequency by repeatedly charging/discharging electric charges of different polarities between terminals. Besides, since a current hardly flows to the vibrator 4 because of extremely great impedance and a high voltage is required for excitation, a DC voltage higher than the DC voltage outputted from the DC power source 1 by several times is provided by the boosting circuit 2. When the oscillation circuit 3 is operated with that DC voltage, the AC voltage of an amplitude almost close to the DC voltage can be provided. Thus, vibrations greater than the oscillation due to the DC power source 1 by several times can be obtained.
