PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric electro-acoustic transducer for increasing the sound issuing effect of an auxiliary diaphragm and for generating a large sound with low frequencies. SOLUTION: This electro-acoustic transducer is provided with a piezoelectric diaphragm 1 constituted by bonding a piezoelectric ceramic plate 2 on whose surface and back faces electrodes are formed to a metallic plate 3, case bodies 20 and 30 for housing the piezoelectric diaphragm 1, and terminals 31 and 32 for electrically leading the electrodes of the piezoelectric diaphragm 1 to the outside parts of the case bodies. An auxiliary diaphragm 10 is arranged almost in parallel with the piezoelectric diaphragm 1 inside the case bodies 20 and 30, and the vibrating part of the piezoelectric diaphragm 1 is connected through a connector 12 with the auxiliary diaphragm 10. Thus, the flex vibration of the piezoelectric diaphragm 1 is transmitted to the auxiliary diaphragm 10 so that a sound with a large sound pressure can be generated with low frequencies. |
