PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily and easily video-record a desired program after selecting a broadcast channel by providing an inputting means and a source detecting means for detecting a broadcast source presently received by television from a signal inputted via the input means. SOLUTION: A broadcast signal supplied to a line signal input terminal (Vin) has a synchronizing signal separated through a synchronization separator 31 to be supplied to a tele-text decode 32 being a source detecting means to detect broadcast data inserted to a vertical fly-back section. The detected broadcast data are inputted to a microcomputer 33. Then, the broadcast signal of a channel tuned by a tuner 34 has a luminance signal and a chrominance signal recorded through a luminance/chrominance signal processing part 35 as the result, and they are inputted as recording signals (REC) after being processed into a proper form. At this time, a microcomputer 33 controls the deck meter and the recording signals are recorded in a recording medium via a head. |
