PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To also transmit an electronic mail by allowing a server to convert fetched home page information to a signal which can be received by a facsimile machine so as to transmit the converted information to the facsimile machine. SOLUTION: A control part 15 executed DTMF sending after closing a line between a server 2 to transmit the mail address of an opposite party, the title of a transmitting document and the text of the electronic mail with a DTMF signal to the sever 2, and reads picture information of an original to transmit the same form as a normal facsimile signal (MH/MR/NMR) to the server 2. The server 2 receives and recognizes the reaching DTMF signal by a DTMF transmission and reception part 21, and a control part 23 sends a designated title and document to a designated mail address by the signal of a form suited to the internet and attaches a received picture signal as an attached file by a signal of a form suited to the internet such as a GIF form or a TIFF form to send out.
