The roller component (2) for use in a land roller has a serrated edge and is manufactured as described in DE27475335-C1, DE4222141-C2, DE19819907, EP93109996, DE4411670, or EP95104604. The serrations are prism-shaped and lie on the circumference of a circle. The sides of the serration slope downwards or rise to a point before sloping downwards. The novelty is that the component consists of two halves (2.1, 2,2) which are mirror images of each other and are fastened together with bolts (3).
