The wall presents a transportable unit composed of a frame (2) fitted in the vertical plane with two or more spaced rotatable rollers (5) carrying an endless conveyor belt (8) fitted with grips (10). The belt is lowered either by muscle or motor (9) and the grips are placed at random on the outside of the belt. The belt runs in a zigzag round and through the rollers (5) which in turn are recessed (15) at spacing. The bearing parts of the rollers are surrounded by a housing (6,7) and the wall as such can be changed in angle in the climbing part. The belt is tensioned (19) from behind in the climbing part (12) by means of a guide sheet (20) and the climbing part (12) is limited at top and bottom by a safety device (16).
