The invention relates to exploration of oil and gas wells. According to the invention, a special cable for geophysics containing one or several electrically isolated leads comprises a multilayer sheathing made from steel wire. Such a cable has a higher hardness and rupture strength but still has a required flexibility. It makes it possible to perform works in vertical or horizontal wells and to use pushing devices and sealing systems for wellheads.
