The reflector is a spoon-shaped resonant shell with a square holder rod welded to it, which fits in a clamp screw. The clamp screw is welded to a modified adjustment screw, so that it can be used in place of the adjustment screw. If the saxophone has no adjustment screw, the clamp screw can be welded directly onto the key protector. The reflector is fixed using the clamp screw. The reflector has soft areas resting against the saxophone body, to reduce uncontrolled noise and scratches.
