<p>An apparatus for registering a movement pattern of at least one part of the body of an individual, on the basis of a number of parameters, and generating a signal on the basis of at least one pre-set threshold value of at least one parameter or a set movement pattern, comprises at least one sensor part (1) having at least one movement sensor (8), which sensor part is equipped with means (6) for attachment to or onto the individual in question, the at least one part of the body, and a receiver, in particular a base station (20).
