Vehicle tire comprises a carcass based on metal wires covered by a layer of elastomer, an internal elastomer layer enabling air to enter the inner space of the tire and protecting the carcass and a reinforcing elastomer layer comprising an elastomeric matrix comprising at least a mainly cis-1,4-polyisoprene, a copolymer of diene(s) and vinyl aromatic (VA) monomer(s), with a total of 1,2-dienes (D) and a total of VA chains (VA) such that D and VA are both above 10 and D is between 60-1.75VA and 116-1.64VA, and 25-85% of the amount of elastomer of carbon black of structural value DBP at most 0.88BET+190, where BET is the BET surface area in m<2>/g and DBP is in ml/100 g.
