PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact clip allowing inserting into a bag, a desk drawer and an envelope easily in a bound state by eliminating a part largely protruding outward from a document when bound. SOLUTION: This clip is made entirely with one line material made of steel. Base parts 2b, 3b of a pair of jaw-like part 2, 3 having meshing parts 4, 5 opposing on both ends 2a, 3a are connected with a principal part 1. An energizing mean 6 energizing the jaw-like parts 2, 3 into a closing direction is provided on the principal part 1. Pressing parts 7, 8 opening the jaw-like parts 2, 3 resisting the energizing are individually connected with and fixed to the jaw-like parts 2, 3 on the far side through the principal part 1 while overlapping each other with a gap on the outer sides of both of the jaw-like parts 2, 3 and avoiding a space between both of the jaw-like parts 2, 3. When pressing parts 7, 8 are pressed from outside, the meshing parts 4, 5 open resisting the energizing part 6. When the press is removed, the meshing parts 4, 5 are closed to mesh in a pressed state by the energizing part 6.
