PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a user-friendly leading leash for pets such as dogs or cats and capable of freely adjusting the length of leading leash, hanging a baggage, etc., and readily connecting to a pole, etc. SOLUTION: In this leading leash, a connecting part for connecting to a collar or a body loop attached to a pet such as dog or cat is provided at the either end of a leash 10 and a connecting part is provided also in a holding part 31 of the other end of the leash 10 and a slidable metal fitting having a connecting part for connecting the connecting part is provided in the intermediate part of the leash. Thereby, the length of the leash 10 can freely be adjusted and a baggage, etc., can be hung to the connecting part of the holding part 31 and the pet can simply be connected to a pole, etc.
